About Us

Who we are, where we come from, and where we're headed as a church family

Who we are

River of Life Church cares about one thing more than anything else, Jesus Christ. ROL is a family of individuals that have found hope in Jesus, and simply want as many people as possible to experience that exact same freedom.

Our Mission is to see souls saved, restored, taught and released.

Where we come from

River of Life was founded in 1989 by a senior Pastors, Richard and Lori Joy. They had a vision for a church that was truly welcoming to everyone - where everyone had a seat at the table regardless of personal history, family background, ethnicity, or gender.

Where we're headed

Theme for 2021: RECLAMATION

”The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” -John 10:10

Throughout 2020, we saw lots of changes in how we could gather, worship and interact with one another. However, we serve an unchanging and almighty God! We adapted all of our services and small groups to keep our congregation safe, but still we were able to encounter Jesus each week! We began offering services online (via Instagram and Facebook) for the first time and we are really excited that God lead us to a new building for the start of 2021!

Our new address:

1660 Chicago Ave, Suite N15, Riverside 92507

We observe the guidelines set by the CDC and kindly ask that if you are unwell or have been in contact with someone who is unwell, to enjoy our services online.
